City of Hope's Eugene and Ruth Robersons Summer Student Academy gives students the opportunity to choose their own biomedical research project and work on it full-time. Participants receive a $4,000 stipend for their work and get to attend weekly seminars and workshops on topics ranging from poster making to biomedical ethics.
